After much playing with textures and messing around I am finally getting somthing that I am happy to show.

I will post more screens as work progresses but you can see what has been done upto now here.

The shots are taken direct from PRO, it suffers a bit because of the JPG compression.

Despite the JPGisms it looks great, nice and sharp, shame you did'nt show a car though, I'd have liked to have seen a shiny car whizzing past .

Thanks for comments, No car cause at the moment I am just trying to get the track too look right.

One of my major disappointments with the previous version was textures not being all that good so I am putting a lot of time into this on the latest version.

It's taken over a month to decide on a decent tree model and texture !!

The trees and fence look really good, as well as the barrier. I can tell theres a lot of work been put into those textures. Keep going with it, looks great

Hi, I have a question about DarkGT V1: Is the road a matrix or just an 3d object?

Hi,

All the tracks for DarkGT are 3D models only, it wouldnt be possible to create a DarkGT track using a marix.

personally i'm more wondering how it'll play rather than look, graphics are nice... but what make GT, GT is the car handleing and physics

I've been waiting 2 years now Richard, hurry up and give me a new demo to play with! My FF wheel is dusty and i'm astmatic - if you dont give me a new demo soon i'm going to die from a coughing fit from all the dust on the wheel!

NOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo....................

Dont force me to write my own! I think I could now (when I first saw DarkGT I was mighty impressed and had no idea how you did it) but i'm 2 years behind you in dev time and, anyway, your demo rocked.... Give me more!

I'm starting a petition to force you to release a new demo. On it already are 83,000 names. Most of them mine.

Wow, reminds me of Need for Speed, or something. The textures are awesome!

Great job, I can't wait to see a demo of this.
