Hi

Just started to play around with FPSC. I know it is possible to import 3rd party models into FPSC. But, is it possible to convert .dbo game level files into either .x or .obj files so that it can be import into blender?

@fhalo
You're not the first person to ask this, as far as I can remember you have to use ultimate unwrap 3D to do it. I don't think FragMOTION works with it.

EDIT: Well whatta ya know, FragMOTION actually can do it, I just tried.

EDIT2: It works, but looks really, REALLY retarded:

Thanks for the reply

I just tried it with , FragMOTION but it returns an
error that it can not fin path for textures?

Do I need to copy all textures in the same folder?

If , FragMOTION works I may buy a copy and add it to my work flow.

Theres going to be so much bugs and work its not worth it trust me I spent a week and couldnt get it done properly because after you get that done theres a whole bunch of collision issues and stuff...

Your signature has been erased by a mod - Please reduce it to (600x120) maximum size

Just move the universe.dbo into your FPSCreator "Files" folder, then just open it with FragMOTION, and if you don't mind typing out a prayer every 7 days, FragMOTION is free anyway.

But, When I open the file it only display outside of the model. How do I walk into the model/room?

Thanks Thanks you!! TZK

Summary:-

I can import .dbo file into Fragmotion
Export .obj from Fragmotion
Import .obj file into Blender 2.49
Then use the append library option to import into blender 2.62.
With FPCS material & textures details.

Have anyone import .bo file into mapscape?

I'll experiment with UU3D

Thanks again.
