Basically, every now and then, some of my "File path not found", I am assuming that this is administative privileges not being set up right. I am an Admin on the computer and I have tried to set the directory of "the game creators" so that you donot need permission to use it, sadly to no prevail.

If you guys know any way that I can change this?? thanks in advance!!

Try installing the U7.7RC7 located in the sticky above. The release candidate has been known to fix the "File path not found" problem.

In my experience DBP works bad with non-latin characters in any path.

Well, win 7 works perfectly. I do have to be admin and I do have to lower the 'protection'* during my coding session.

* Not sure how it's called in US/UK versions. I'm Dutch. But basically you lower the amount of (admin authorisation) messages you receive as admin user.

I hope that explains it a bit. If not, I will clarify because I'm pretty sure that's your issue.

I googled a bit and I now know how it's called in English Win 7; UAC (User Account Control). Just lower it all the way down to compile your code. Just don't forget to raise it when you're done coding for the day .

... or you can install DBPro outside of the Program Files folders. I've never had a permissions problem when I've done this, and never had to adjust any privileges either.
