Hello Forums,

As the title says, I have been inspired to come up with a Hud I can use in the game I was working on. THis is just the basic layout I was seeing in my head. THought Id post a screenie of it to see what the forums thought of it and maybe had some suggestions. As I said It's an extremly rough draft, I haven't done the ammo, inventory, health, lives huds as of yet wanted to settle on a final over all design first

As you look through the hud I was thinking of placing the inventory hud on the right side of the glass and the health on the left.

Well let me know what you .

That looks pretty sweet!

Once you finish getting the rest of it sorted you should think of putting a bit of blurring around the edges of it, as the focus of the player would be drawn to what's going on in front of him.

Great job

i dont like useless buttons on huds, maybe you can implement the player-huds into the helmets displays.

Too much of the screen is taken up by an area you cannot see through (the area with the buttons) and I don't think I would want to play a game looking through that glass, its just too much.

So this definitely needs a lot of improvement. I hope to see this
next time with a cooler look. Good job.

this is very nice, but I think the glass isn't clear enough, it is difficult to see through it.

I'm familiar with this, but I'm still learning!
