Hello everyone I have a problem and i kind of need some help from veterans ho have experience in this kind of things. Im trying to make a game, and i didnt add very things, just some houses, some npcs and guns, and the game kind of runs a little slow. I have set the grapichs to the most low that FPSC offers me but it dosent work, and i dont wanna publish the game with lagg.. I was wondering if there are tweaks to FPSC x9 that can help, i have been looking for something in the forum but i found nothing. If some one can send me some direct links or give me some advices it would be good. Thank You

My PC Specs:

Well first thingis you might of lag on your computer but others can play it fine so you can publish it and be lag free... Also try to turn as many objects as you can to static remove anything that isn't a must have remove uneeded lights...

Also have the npcs spawn through a trigger zone so only a max of 3 is on the map at a time I found that it helps alot.

This is probably your GPU that is running slowly. As long as you give it to someone with a mid-class gaming computer to test, it should give you an idea what to tweak as NILooc223 stated

gpu nearly doesnt matter because fpsc dont use it to the limit, while it fully beats up the cpu (fpsc calculates the main graphic things via cpu, while using gpu only for effects good for integrated gpu as laptops, bad for gaming machines and overall performance). 2ghz is very low for actual fpsc, i suggest a minimum of 2.4-2.6 to run it with good usable fps.

main thing is: build not that big levels. use nonstatics only where neccessary. trigger characters with triggerzones, not from the start of the game. stay within a max of 5 heightlevels at the beginning. dont build outdoor-levels without leveldesign-experience in fpsc.
lower lightmap-quality in setup.ini to 256/25.
