What do you use the shield your art, maps or any other game files from your users, preventing them from messing arround with it?

Urm.. If your thinking about protections etc on your work.. have a look in the DarkBASIC forum, there's one there called "Piracy" or something like that... That has a bit of into in it...

There are options to compile media into the exe, and optionally compress or encrypt the media files. Though that last option is rather stupid for reasons I won't expand upon. It would be enough to stop the average user maybe.
