As long as the program is a legit copy, And any models/media you own. Also make sure you check your models licences that they can be used in a commercial game. Some ask to be giving credit and some dont allow it. cheers

And yet there are some that have actually made good money with using FPSC. Go figure.

Contrary to some rumours I have to face occasionally, I didn`t make much money, because I signed a quite stupid contract.
But I had my costs of around 50.000 Euro (And almost 2/3 of that was spent on the movie scenes and Art) covered, so no tears on that. But I didn`t actually earn money for myself.

The main publisher of Anderson made ~ 250.000 Dollars net revenues on the game. If you take the secondary revenues from Distributors who signed flat fees with the primary Publisher into Account, the worldwide revenues are roughly floating around 500.000 $.

Others stuffed their pockets on our back, thats for sure. But standing on the airport of Dubai and seeing your game being sold there next to Alone in the Dark is a quite overwhelming experience

Interesting. So what other games using FPSC have gone commercial? I'd be interested in tracking them down and playing them.

LOL with the countries having money issues? No thanks. I'll stick to making FPSC games instead.

There was this thread that had some listed. We've sold developments ourselves, and although they were sold to private clients, we made good money on them. The key is using and knowing the tools to make the game, then getting them into the right doors.

Or become a hitman and then sell your life story to a big computer games publisher to make a game out of it!
