I have been reading Darkbasic Programming for the absolute beginner, and I must say.. its a great book. Anyone have suggestions on other easy to follow books that will help to get into programming... especially programming arcade-style games? I saw Hands on Darkbasic volumes 1 and 2, and was considering buying them from amazon. I just like feedback on work before I purchase it

you can alternatively buy the PDF editions directly from the publisher... however if you prefer physical be a sport and help support TGC by buying it here, I have both books and they are priceless [PDF for me though - however i plan to hopefully pay the price for the physicals]

hope that helped
