I am currently using DBPro Free and about to upgrade to DarkGame studio tomorrow (if they get my account stuff straight). Now I assume, and correct me if I am wrong, the DBPro and DBPro Free are both the exact same except for the advertisements. That being said, I checked out the Plugins that come the the Free version and noticed that Green Ear is loaded and valid.

Looking into this, I see that Green Ear is no longer avaliable for sale, and the website is gone. Sooo... how does this work? I see on the page they still have up on TGC that:

•Green-Ear for DarkBASIC Professional : Free Download
•10 voice slots, $49.95
•25 voice slots, $99.95
•50 voice slots, $175.95
•100 voice slots, $299.00
•500 voice slots, $1295.00

Is there any way to still utilize this feature, or is it just dead weight within the program?

long story short, and as mentioned on your verious other threads... NO.

it is a discontinued product by its creators, a third party not associated with TGC aside from a product point of view.

should my statement be incorrect someone please feel free to correct me, however this is the most accurate I can provide.

hope that helped

the free version of DBpro is licensed. you can make and sell your apps using it.

note 1: you still have not saved money when you get the free version. as you will have to buy each pluggin by itself.
my advice get the bonanza deal. you will really save a lot.

note 2: Green ear is no longer available as the green ear company have changes their products but still offer service for early adopters.

I believe you mean Not fully licensed... I myself am unclear as it does not concern me using the free edition but I believe there is some kind of time based pop-ups or something...

Never tried the free version, but I'm pretty sure the user of any apps created with the free version will be shown that the app/game is made with a TGC product. Not completely sure though, just seems logical.
