If I create a level no matter how big or small and then test it, the program just hangs on a white screen when I hit the ESC key.

I searched the forum and found that this had been raised previously but without resolution. One suggestion was that McAfee or maybe another program was interfering with it but this is not true in my case since I killed everything possible from the task manager before starting and I still get the same result.

I am using it on an XP machine. Does anyone have a solution to this or is it a common problem?

EDIT: Sorry I forgot to say I am using the latest update of FPSC.

Thanks

Well, i am glad someone is 'amusing' it.....

Sorry, i couldn't resist.

In all honesty, your problem is the first i have heard of its kind.

The only advice i would give would be to try a fresh install.

Yeah I fixed it as soon as I saw it LOL

Thanks though, I am downloading now to do just that. I will report back if it works because it's kind of annoying when a problem and possible solution post are just left hanging.

EDIT: OK reinstallation did the trick, really weird how that happened, sorry for the (almost) useless post
