Hey everyone,

Uploaded a new video of my current WIP Retro Racer. It's a behind-the-car racer, and I have two minutes of footage that I just made today.

I need to swap out the Rad Racer sprites at some point *sigh*

Looks like an good start jeff.

But i feel that you maybe nead to make some variations on the same sprite?

When there is long sections of the same objects on the side ,so do you get the illusion that they are static.

Maybe do 2 variations of the same that you randomise when they are placed on screen.
Slightly darker, brighter or some extra detail.

So its visual that they move towards you.

Will do! It's a demo level (testing stuff for now) but hey, gotta start somewhere. I'll keep what you say in mind (or perhaps alternate between having sprites every other road segment).

BTW how do you embed youtube videos???

Hahaha thanks =)
Anyway I decided to pack up and include a very rough demo of my game. I included enemy cars that veer you off course if you hit 'em.
(Controls are listed in splash but...... W=go, S=brake, A+D=steer)

Btw, yes I will be purchasing Smart Packer Pro for thsi project. Just haven't done it yet :/
