Hi im trying to make when you shoot a sprite appear at the end of the gun but it appaers over the top of the gun. So i treid sending it to the back and it goes behind every 3d item. Please help! any will be much appratcied

P.S. Sorry for the spelling

you can't use sprites for something like that. sprites are only good for hud or windows. For fire or smoke decals you'll have to use plains and glue them to the gun and offset properly

you will have to make a plane, use some kind of "fire" texture on it in PNG or BMP format. then set on it 2 effects:
ghost object on and set object transparency.

make the plain look on the camera with the command point object.

this should be all you need to make it happen.
