Alright, now, friends. I've just finished the 8th level of my game, and I'm starting to wonder how many levels I can push into a full game. I know, it's supposed to be 50, but will there be a point where too many levels messes up the full game build? I am literally aiming for 30 to 40 if I can. So far, everything's good. And in case the application depends on the operating system, I'm running on an HP P7 series. 8gb Ram, Windows 7, 64 bit, 2.50 GH'z quad core.

I was gonna use Wolf's Euthanasia for reference but the one thing my computer doesn't have is a graphics card able to do shaders. -_-

So, just wondering, sorry for yet again another post. Thanks!

hmm... The problem usually is that the more levels makes more of a chance for there to be fatal errors... in my experience anyways

So, today, I finished the ninth level and made a build of the game. I noticed that a texture was missing from one of the entities, and that on two of the levels, the data for the guns go missing (damage, fire iterations, accuracy and stuff).

Is this a sign that I should stop or something? lol

I sometimes noticed with some builds you have to manually add missing parts. Noticed this first with the pack called "Green Nature". Whenever you build a game it sometimes does not copy the skybox's over. So you have to manually go in and copy "sun/sun.x"

Not sure why this happens..

Actually, you only need to copy the texture files. We have an issue with a few skyboxes and if the DBO file is in the build, then we only need to ensure the texture files are there as well and all is okay. Same with entities. We have a wall that just won't copy in the build, and appears as a white shape in the build. We manually copied the DBO and the texture files for the wall since nothing for the wall copied, and voila- a nice textured wall.

It's an FPSC thing. Some items have issues, some don't. Always good to write down what is used so you can check after. Dark Egypt pack has a few of the false walls that won't copy, but that it because the folder structure contains characters (the ampersand) that the engine does not like during a build.

Does anybody have an idea why the gun data is missing though? It's okay up until one level in particular when the guns go back to their vanilla settings. Then after that, it goes back to set up I typed into it.

Forgot to ask, are you using a mod?

Not yet. Trying to figure out which one might work best. Project Blue or Fenix.

Honestly? Neither- if you are using FPSC v1.18 and up. Fenix (if I recall correctly) last worked good for v1.16. Project Blue no longer has any proper support since v1.17/v1.18, meaning if you have issues and require help, your chances of help are next to nil.

Save yourself headaches. Stick with vanilla first, maybe look at the source and mod yourself. Or go with RPG Mod if you want a mod. At least the developer takes the time to help when you have issues.

Yeah. I'm using v1.19. I was thinking about RPG mod as well. What I really want (even though it's not a mod) is Model Pack 54. That is a MUST.
