I crave your assistance with a question on shadows.
I'm attaching a short code extract. If you run it you'll see a pink sphere with a gold box behind it. Theres one light in the scene.
Now, the sphere is correctly lit - the point of it nearest the light is the brightest and the back half is not lit at all.
The box is the problem.
My question is this: is there an easy way I can get the box to be lit such that there is a shadow on it caused by the sphere?
(NB: I've tried set shadow shading on and it works fine except ITS VERY SLOW. Is there a faster way?)
