ey i got a problem with x levels/maps
when i make a terrain or matrix then i can get a camera down or uphill without floating in the air, my qeustion : how am i able to give a X object some kind of gravity such as terrain or matrix?

it's like with terrain walking down hill the cam goes downhill too, but in an x object the camera doesn't

can you show us your collision code for a .X level, cant help you like this

make camera 1
load object "level.x",1
set object collision to polygons 1
automatic camera collision 1,1,1
do
control camera using arrowkeys 1,10,5
loop

You may wish to look at the programming resource on my website as it features an .x object collision system. Also I gather there is a .dll now called coldfusion or something that also handles .x collision.

The answer to your question actually lies in the intersect object command. If you are using .x objects for your level design then it is a good idea to learn this command. You will see it in action in my programmers resource, and various poly collision functions such as Kensupen's excellent sliding collision demo that inspired me to write mine. I'm sure there's more in the codebase too by now as well.
