When exporting a object from 3D Studio Max to DarkBASIC the texture doesn't come out correct. I've been working on a checker board and baked a pre-rendered texture on it, but it seems like DarkBASIC won't read the UV coordinates correctly. The checker board is textured on the object, but leaves black space at each end. Is they a way to fix this?

Please see first post for image. As you can see at the edge of the checker board it has a black border but in 3D Studio Max it appears different just like it should.

Perhaps it would help if you showed that as well. The first image looked fine to me so without another image to compare it against we can only guess.

Here is how it looks in 3D Studio Max. If you notice on the outside of the squares in the original picture (DarkBASIC) it has a black outline which is a problem because then all the squares are sized down. Please also note that the blue border is a different object. The squares are just a texture on a plane.

I also tried using "Unwrap UVW" and using the editor to adjust the texture onto the object, but it seems like when I export it using Pandasoft DirectX exporter it looses the formatting. Is there something not supported when I export and is there any way around this?

The cheap way is to modify the texture to hide this effect. Although it might not be possible in this case if the black border is untextured, or if the U/V data is awful enough.

Here is the 3D model you requested, see attached.

I tried unwraping the UVW again and re-mapped the coordinates and somehow it worked.
