Well hello guys.
Was thinking about an interesting competition, last night and this morning.Most compo's allows you maximum freedom, with some limitation using stock engine, themes, map size ect.
I was thinking about a competition with a twist.Rather than have the entry build a map with his own media and scripts and goodies.
Give the entry a preset of assets to use and only those assets , map size, number of lights allowed to use ect...ect.
Was thinking about this while busy testing out some of the media I have created for the warehouse pack that I am working on.The map and warehouse is just about big enough to use as multi-player map, a good map takes about 30's seconds to go from end to end, I read that somewhere can't remember where.
The idea is basically this, for example.
For the first compo.
Supply the warehouse map pre-build.

150 stock crates entities
10 warehouse windows
10 lights and light sources
12 stock platforms sections
10 fence sections.
6 stock weapons.
12 different stock entities
4 different warehouse texture types
50 plank entities
60 frag point limit
Enough assets to make a killer MP map, and what is also nice promote the MP side of FPSC, and really push creativity with limited assets, environment, and the winner, we get to play his map online and frag him in an official event.
