Hello all,

to fulfill my boredom and creativity needs as i have stopped using fpsc and most other game related programs i needed something to do and began to write HMS Diptera the book. Lot's of changes and story improvements as well as much more detail.

Anyways, I'm out of ideas for the cover of the book. Something space like, i was thinking of the dogman's face from mp22 with space reflecting from the eye's. But, since I have nothing installed apart from photoshop could someone provide me with a picture of the dogmans face? Or if anyone here fancies having a shot at creating the cover page go ahead and post it here.

Just as a sampler, the first 2 chapters are attached to this post

Thanks,

Ben

Those two chapters were really really good. I can't wait for the finished story. Loved how you included members of the forum, like Errant and Heltor. Just wow it was great

I read it Pretty decent I have to say... The only crit is that maybe you could add some more details about the surroundings/envo. as right now I really can't get a picture in my head as to where exactly the main char is and how his surroundings are acting. (I don't mean details like the rocks hitting the side, I'm talking about like broad descr. of the surroundings to paint a picture... Sort of)

Good job though! And I'll see about the cover... Have a lot of commitments right now, but I'll see if I can

Cheers,
Anayar

oh sry i misunderstand you!

and sry again but i do not like your first chapters, because i can not feel with this character! everything is too abstract!

im not a big scifi fan so dont worry. there are more then me in this universe, so many people can love this book

a small picture how maybe your cover can look like! (its not finished yet)

i'll get on that thanks for the crit ill be sure to add more description of the environment. I was thinking that I would add a floor plan of the ship at the end of the book. I know exactly what you mean. thanks

Hey Pal, Here's 3 shots of the dog man. Let me know if these don't work, or describe what angles you need etc and I'll try again. Sorry I can't help design the cover that's my wife's area of expertise. Maybe someone here can get creative with these.

Read the first 2 chapters and love it. I agree it could use some more detail about the hallways, I just know there are wires and pipes on the sides. But what are the floors and ceilings like? Help us paint a mental picture

Also, what dimensions do you want for the cover? Or should I make an 8.5x11 and let you scale as needed?
