This is probably really irrelevant but still, I thought I needed to share this because it's rather weird.

Ok, so I cleaned up my desktop and pinned all my programs to the task bar, one of the was Google Chrome Portable (I think that was it) the reason I had that version of Google Chrome is because due to some issues that my laptop had earlier, it would not let me install the actual Google Chrome.

This is where the magic happened:

When I opened up a window in Google Chrome from the taskbar, it would open another "icon" on the task bar. I didn't like that, so I unpinned it and pinned it again, closed it, played "Bully" for a while and then came back... opened Google Chrome and went on facebook, opened a new tab.. lo and behold, all my bookmarks and apps from the normal version of Chrome Reappeared. I was like "Woah".

Mods can lock this if they want to, like I said this is just to weird not to mention.

The Chromium developers are facing a number of issues lately. Large downloads finish but don't rename the download from .crdownload and cause chrome to report errors. Mixed with Zonealarm, you cannot use facebook. And a few others. The developers have got them on high priority but whether they get them fixed in a decent time span is another thing.

I can't seem to pin eclipse to the taskbar because it just opens up in another app window. Seems to be the case for app launchers (like Chrome portable).

Unrelatedly (yup, invented a word) I'm a bit annoyed that I can't pin batch programs, or shortcuts to batch programs, to the taskbar. (I find it a bit odd that I have to write an actual program that does pretty much the exact same thing to get the program launched. But again, different window. Not worth it.)

Cheers,
Aaron
