Hello, I figured this was a good place to ask, I was wondering the "legality" of implementing the .dbo format in my own Direct3D engine I have been working on. I would want to because I have a large collection of assets in the .dbo format.

hmmm you would need to consult the DBpro team. check the eula. as far as i know if you use dbo format for your programming needs within the dark basic language, you are ok. check with TGC for any other licencing needs.

best to ask and do the right thing.
