I dont have printing ink, I need a copy of a barcode, can I place image on iPhone, then put on photocopying machine and take a copy?
Will this damage iPhone?

Or are there any other ways to get an image without a printer?

Yeah, wouldn't the less dumb way be something like using the iPhone's famous ability to share files with something that can print?

Cos I gotta be honest, this sounds like photocopying your computer monitor, while scrolling your mouse to make sure it grabs the whole doc.

Worst part being, I guarantee that someone in the world has done that, and it was probably Mr Bean.

If you press the Home button and the Power button at the same time, you'll take a screenshot of whatever is on screen. This works anytime the screen is on, including on the lock screen, and with any app.

Then, if you need it printed, you can send the file to a computer (e-mail, photo stream, etc) or use AirPrint if you have a compatible printer. Cropping can be done from within the built-in Photos app if you need to.

iphone supports printing, but with only an extremely limited number of printers. Like maybe one.

Oh, and no it will not damage the phone, it's only light. My phone passes through x-ray machines at the airport all the time.

I caught that, I assumed he was going to scan it at Kinko's or something. Otherwise, scanning it at home still has the same issue of not having ink.

Go spend $15 on a new ink cartridge?

You could e-mail it to yourself and put it on an SD card or USB stick, most places around here allow you to print from one of those (granted, I'm not sure if that is the case with you).
