Q:Can Guardian clear PvE very easily? I did okay on my Guardian but I found warrior faster.
A1:A guardian can probably actually beat a warrior in terms of DPS using a greatsword. [
gw2 gold]Greatsword hits insanely hard but is easily kited... except PvE mobs don't kite so you can get easy full-damage Whirling Wraths and symbols in on them.
A2:I love Guardian ! Its a great profession.
Its Heavy Armor + Mobility + Survivability + Good Damage..
I enjoyed it alot .
Im now in doubt if I will main a Guardian or a Warrior but after some rethinking
Im enjoying the Guardian more.. so will see.
Anyways , Guardians are really great in pve.
A3:I had no problems with a guardian with greatsword or as the matter of fact with any other weapon. I played a warrior too till lvl15ish, it wasn't as effective and fast as the guardian in my opinion. Although the warrior was the very first profession I've tried and I wasn't sure how to use it at that time.
A4:I have been wondering which class would excel in PvE. I enjoyed my Guardian and somehow I leveled much faster with it compared to the others I played. I will mostly be a big pve'er with minimal interest in PvP so a class that can solo a lot of content without much problem is very important to me which is why I will likely make my main a Guardian (probably human) at launch.
