keep calm, forums are not frequented that high, maybe you have to wait a day or 2 to get an answer.

create a map, place lights, place minimum 1 nonstatic entity, go into buildgame dialogue and set it to full shaders, then test game.

you can edit lightmapping-quality (your keyword ) inside your setup.ini/buildgame.ini in your fpsc-folder.

search for "lightmapping" tutorials & settings (a good one by WOLF anywhere around here) by using google-forum-search.

^^ p.s.: dont do double postings or double threads. when you are new to the forums, you have to wait until your posts get checked and published. its the newbie-trolls-filter. just4info

Also dynamic shadows do not exist and even if they did... they would eat up the resource monitor.

If you buy one of Bond1's models that has a shadow shader, you can apply it to enemies and they will have "shadows" as well. Of course its nothing but a parlor trick and the lighting has nothing to do with the "shadow" cast. It still looks good however.

Or if you don't have the money to do that then check this shader out. And the light direction does effect it on this one almost like having dynamic shadows other then it passes through wall instead of on them.
