I created an AVI video and added the video to the Videobank. I then created a Story Zone and set the pathway from 'Visual' to the video. I started the game and it shows a white screen and only playing the audio. Can someone find a way to fix this? Thanks.

AVI can use a whole range of encoding techniques. Can you be more specific on which codec you used?

Finding a codec that works well on a wide range of pc's can be quite difficult.

avi is just a container-format, you have to change the codec.
divx will crash your game, hufyuf is good but not available on all systems, mpg2 is standard but not that good (and licensed), h.264 is very good but rare and hard to handle.
best would be, after you found the right codec for you, to give it to the customer with the game-installer, same as dx9.0c.

There are some Microsoft codecs that should work across Windows systems. I can't remember their names right now (Microsoft Video 1 or RLE or something...). Most of them are old by todays standards but they will get the job done.

I use h.264 for a codec. So all I have to do is make sure I give the installer for the codec with the game?

Which codec works for all the PCs so I don't have to add an installer (The ones that are already install)?
