Searched the forums with google search and couldn't find an answer to this. I built a simple room with a player marker in the room. When I test the game the player is outside of the room and I can see the exterior of the segment walls of the room.

Edit: Seems to only occur when I use full shader effects
Edit: Sorry for all the editing guys. From further testing the problems seems to be isolated to the Sci-Fi segments and only when I use full shader effects as set in the preferences.

happens sometimes. place a nonstatic entity/light in the map.

i start with a prefab anywhere on the map with the stock autodoor. thats enough to evade that effect.

Hmmm, doesn't seem to matter what I add, if I use segments from the Sci-Fi category with full shaders then those segments get moved. I believe it's the segments being misplaced because when I added an automatic door it seemed to be positioned correctly in relation to my starting point, although it is just hanging there in space because there aren't any segments around it. I can walk up to the door and it will open and i can walk through it. The room I built appears to be several hundred units away. So far as collision goes it's like the walls are there but they can't be seen, they are invisible. I can move around as if the room is actually there, though it can't be seen.

This is an issue I have dealt with in the past and still do.
Would you by any chance be running an ATI GPU?

It does seem to be shader related. Dropping a static entity anywhere into the map always fixes it for me. I gave up a long time ago trying to narrow down the issue as most others here cannot duplicate the problem.

This is quite a common problem, or that's the impression I get since there's been quite a few people asking about this in the past.

As has already been mentioned, a quick fix is to place a static entity anywhere in your level.

I don't know what causes it, or why placing a static entity cures it, I just know that's what happens!

I quite quickly got into the habit of making putting a static entity in my maps pretty much the first thing I do.

My solution to this I came across by accident. I place a room segment from the WW2 pack in and everything shows up.

Okay, adding a static entity worked. Thank you all for your responses, it's greatly appreciated
