Hi guys, I have seen a video of bond1 and all the thread of the v1.19 and there it´s says "flashing=x (condition) returns true if a spotflash is in process and x=1 or returns true if no spotflash is in process and x=0" and I really don´t undestand what it mean (I speak Spanish, but I know some english)...
Could someone tell me how to activate that "effect"?
Here is the video of what I asking you!!:

You will need two things in your script.

1. Setup the spot flash, something like this:

Quote: ":state=0:setflashred=100,setflashblue=255,setflashgreen=100,setflashrange=1000"

2. Execute spot flash whenever you want:

Quote: ":state=1,plrusingaction=1:emitflash"

Hi, thanks for your answer! I really don´t undestand well what you mean but I do this:

I create this script:

;Artificial Intelligence Script

;Header

desc = Spotflash

;Triggers

:state=0:setflashred=100,setflashblue=255,setflashgreen=100,setflashrange=1000
:state=1,plrusingaction=1:emitflash

;End of Script

And then I tried applying it to a Trigger and a Dynamic Light with range 0 and it doesn´t do anything...

You were close.

Try this:

:state=0:setflashred=100,setflashblue=255,setflashgreen=100,setflashrange=1000
:state=0:state=1
:state=1,plrusingaction=1:emitflash

Put it into a trigger zone. Pressing "enter" will trigger the spot flash.

The flash will happen at the location of the trigger zone. Basically the flash will happen at the location of the entity running the script.

hmmm - it should work. I have it working in entities and trigger zones.

When you put the script into an entity, can you see the entity when you press "enter"?

Also make sure your ambient light is not too high - the spot flash is not very bright (whith my settings) so the room needs to be quite dark.

[EDIT] I've added a random spot flash script here for you to test.

I put your script into a Trigger Zone, and I tried with a lot of differents entities but I am still not see any diference; and my ambicence is set to 0.
I put the script into the main of the entity and the trigger, it´s that correct?
And I tried putting it to the RED LED of EAI but the item doesn´t appear.

Put it into an entity (it won't work with the LED VWEAP from EAI)

Don't put it into a trigger zone at the same time - I think there can only be 1 spot flash on at the same time.

You should see and flash on the surrounding entities - there is no affect on the segments.

Hi, what I am asking is How can I make the effect of the reflect of the light into the Segments and the Entity. I have the last version of 1.19 and I have just test a game with some Static Entities and the RED LED of EAI and I have the reflect, but only on Static Entities.
Do you know how can I get this effect with segments (walls and floors) and Dymanic Entities?
Because I get the effect on the Static entities only and I don´t do any changes to the FPSC (I don´t put any script or trigger zone)

He's basically asking how you can get dynamic entities to react to dynamic lights. I asked the same thing a while ago but didn't get an answer.
