Hi guys, it´s me again and I was making my first level when I realise that when I apply the post effect "Rain" it´s for all the map, so when I enter a building is still raining...
Can someone tell me how I force the rain into a zone?
I have been searching and I didn´t found anything...

Yeah.. you'll have to put another trigger zone in the building to turn it off. You may then come into the problem of not hearing or seeing the rain outside the doorway. I'd suggest for that have a door that automatically shuts after you enter the building.

or use (in addition to the posteffect-trigger) a rain-decal/object right in front of the windows/door (i dont know if anything exists for rain like the water-entities of metro-theater).

Yes, that can be an option.
But, there is no way that when I left the building it starts to rain again?
I mean, Once I enter a building the rain "stop", and when I go outside it starts again.

Put a trigger zone right outside the door with the rain so when you walk out it will start raining again

Truth is, that this kind of effect cannot be replicated in FPSC the way you probably know it from AAA games like HL2, Stalker, Skyrim etc. because FPSC only does them as 'huds'.

You'll never see it raining through a window or see the raindrops hit a surface.

The only way to make it appear halfway realistic, is to build the level without any 'cover' and to enter/leave buildings via 'teleport' scripts so the player is always either inside or outside.

It is possible to see it raining outside using rain decals , but the rainfrops won't hit surfaces .

Here's an example of rain working outdoors and turning off indoors. Even turns off when you enter a shed. Watch in HD to see the full effect.

The rain manifests itself by floor decals and running down from building roofs?

Hi Teabone! Really it´s a good video, you use the Waterfall and the Rain floor of the Decals right?
But what I want to do is that when the players enter a building or a shed the rain "stops" (I set the posteffect to "none) and it´s allright. But here comes the problem, when the player leaves the building, how do I activate again the Rain Effect? I put again the trigger "Rain" outside and that´s all?

step #1 place 1 triggerzone outside with main rain posteffect

step #2 make a building

step #3 place a triggerzone inside your building with post fx none as the main ai

now when you go inside the building the rain will stop and when you go back outside the rain will start again once you reach the triggerzone you placed! like kingofmk98 said above place the rain triggerzone right outside of the door of the building so it will activate once you step outside!
