Roughly 2 1/2 weeks ago my new place caught fire and within an hour...yargh..everyone got out in time. Greece fire turned rogue. I tried to put it out but it seriously wouldn't go. Since it was a new place, barely there 3 weeks, no fire extinguisher and no insurance...

Fire Dep won't let us back in until either tomorrow or Sunday, though was able to tap some internet. I unfortunatly had to leave my portable drive with all my work. Hopefully it made it...

Anyway small update, always fun. I'll get to the 3D comp once I get my stuff. Later!

I always have a fire extinguisher and blanket, in the kitchen at least, never had to use one yet so lucky, hope you manage to salvage something from it, bad thing to happen and your lucky no one got hurt.
Seen a few bad fires and one of my friends tried to get into a room with one going on, stupid thing to do with risk of backdraft he was fortunate enough that the door handle was so hot it took the skin right off his hand, preventing him from opening it.

Awesome! Its one of those threads.

Damn man, that sucks. I hope you didn't lose anything too important. Glad that you're safe at least. And welcome back.

Well my drive melted but was able to extract some files. My computer won't turn on, it was running at the time so it probably inhaled smoke.

I admire you for taking this as well as you have. If it had been my stuff, I'd be too devastated to think straight.

Not much phases me and I hardly if ever get angry. You could shoot me with a gun and I'd probably just shrug.
