Hey!

So I just modeled something that I'm actually proud to show! It's a shotgun I modeled originally for use in TF2 and hopefully having it put into the game. It's not done yet, so it's not UV mapped or textured or anything, just modeled. It's a mix of a trench gun, a M1014, and a regular shotgun (Barrels, Body, and Stock, in that order)

I'm too lazy to host the images (sorry) so for now just click "View"

Thanks!

Oh, and I just noticed I forgot to add the pump for the shotgun (It's supposed to be pump action), I swear it was there before

Oh come on. We're trying to talk with sigs here and you rudely interrupt.

You've done a good blockout on the body of the shotgun, but the barrel and trigger guard look far to high poly. Consider how the player will view the weapon and how many resources you've spent at those parts.

In my opinion, you should spend a little more time modelling. You've got the side silhouette, now get an image of the front or back and try to smooth out the stock and body of the weapon accordingly.

edit: I'm not sure this is appropriate to your level at the moment, but you might learn a couple of things link

Looks good, though as mentioned the body looks to blocky...
