Howdy.

I have made 6 levels to my game Impuzzable and must of had a MOD installed while i was making them, but, can't for the life of me remember which one?!

I upgraded to V.1.20.3 and tried to install the community MOD (to no avail - but, that's for a different thread), but, decided to go back to V.1.19.009 as that is the previous version i used to make the levels. When i try to load the maps, i get the error message telling me that the maps are corrupt and don't load.

Is there any way of forcing these maps to open or maybe finding out which MOD was installed when i created them.

I take it nobody knows if this is possible?

I may have to remake these levels.......mental note, don't use a mod, then forget which one you have installed! Your maps will not work again until the mod is in place!

i think there is no mod for 1.19, maybe rpg mod and http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=192026&b=21 this but i do not remeber of any other mod! Are you sure that you use 1.19? Why are you downgrading fpsc? 1.2 is the same like 1.19 but much better. Maybe it is a downgrading mistake, otherwise i can not do anything for you!

There is no information that is passed/written from the mod EXE to the map files unless the particular modder of that mod has coded their mod to do so.

The issue you may have encountered has nothing to do with a mod, but the fact that you went from one version to a newer one, then back to a previous one. There has always been issues with levels made in one version opened in a newer version, then messed up if you go back to an older version. With the source code for v1.17, v1.18, v1.19, there are specific sections that relate to data and version number. If you attempt to save and go back and forth, the data it tries to retrieve may be "out of sync". Best to stick with one version during a full development- less headaches.

@Corno

The only reason i decided to go back to 1.19 is to make sure i can still work on my game.....which i can't.

@Black Fox

Thanks for the input mate. I had already arrived at the conclusion that i had lost all of that data! Ah, well, it gives me the chance to make it again, but, better.

On a side note, i had backed all of the media, scripts, textures and segments, so, shouldn't take too long.

Thanks for the comments people.
