Anyone know why my vikings are not only so dark they look untextured, but also halfway through the floor. Other characters are ok.
??

TBH I don't know what a shader is, but I'm just running normal basic stuff at the moment with no mods, and this is just in the test mode, not compiled yet, as I say, other models are ok with same settings.
I'll have a look into shaders, heard of them. A quick explanation to get me going?

Cheers

Look around forums. Try enabling shaders, and going to character properties, and erase the "Shader" line under visual characteristics.

Also, what version are you using? Some of the model packs don't work with older versions. I'd recommend (although I'm slightly bias) V120 Beta.

With using older version(s) of FPSC, one may need to edit the FPE of the character and remove the "effect" shader. We noticed this and by removing the effect specified, the character(s) were normal.

Yes... you are, but that is okay.

I'll try Try enabling shaders and see what happens.
Shouldn't be a version conflict because FPSC and model packs are all brand new.
TBH I'm not too bothered anyway, I haven't got a sword and it's not really fair taking an uzi to them, although sometimes I feel like it when they come floating waist height waving their swords about like toasted legless ghosts. Sometimes I feel like locking them in a ruined building and leaving them there.
But yeah, Shaders.

Sorted, vikings full length and proper decorated. Now I just got to find a sword to fight back with. (Upgraded to v1.19)
