Hello,
I’m a PhD student and doing a research on the relationship between ostracism and computer game play. For my last project I programmed a game using FPSC.
Our Problem
However for our research we need now another game. Since the game is used for research purposes we need the same game in four slightly different versions. While the game should always be the same located in some kind of basement or a sewer system the task of the player is the main difference between the versions: In one task there are intruders in the basement, in the second one the player has to fix pipes in the basement, in the third one the player has to rescue some people and in the last one the player has to decide between different options. The total game play of each version should be around 15 minutes. Since this is a game used only for research purposes the graphics doesn’t have to be top notch.

What we expect you to do?
We are focused on the final product. You have the choice of starting from scratch, using one of our prior games or use one of your games. The task would be to do most of the level design including lighting and simple programming. I think for nearly all objects stock models should be fine.
At the end we need the complete source code of the project, since we have to do some alterations to the FPSC to connect it to our other lab equipment.

Why should you do it?

We don’t expect anyone to do it for free and would pay you. The exact amount is open to negation.

What would be the next steps?

We have a more detailed description of the game. I would send it to interested person and discuss all necessary aspects, so that everybody gets a clear picture of the game. Then we would ask for a binding and written quote. Based on this quote, we would offer you a contract with the university to do the work. Since university administration is involved, this takes some time. We think a realistic date to get the contract finalized would be the middle of October.

Team requests aren't allowed on the forums in anywhere other than the DarkBASIC sections. I can program, but it depends which language you are asking for.
Hit me up by email if you're interested, but this will get locked when a moderator sees it.
