Ok I've just finished making a shed-load of changes to the structure of the page and the menus in general. This message is being posted from Mozilla Firebird 0.7 on which the entire site now works perfectly including no more of that "left menu is full screen width" stuff.
Also checked it totally on Opera 7.1 and fixed a few niggling little things with that too, so again it works as it should.
IE of course works fine.
FireBird is pretty impressive actually.. there's no way I'll switch to it, but I'll definitely leave it installed as it renders this site seriously quickly, caching all the right images in all the right places. I've optimised the HTML a lot to increase this speed dramatically. I also broke the structure down into three different segments (header, content, footer) so it will load piece by piece now and you'll not have to wait so long for the page to appear.

(no download manager, no popup blocker, no tabbed interface, useless print preview, no integrated Google search, no grouped bookmarks, no managers for forms, cookies, images or passwords, no integrated HTML source editor, happily runs dodgy code without asking, no built in IRC etc...) ... so I really hope you can fix the Mozilla issues."
For me I get virtually ALL of those features in IE just by having the Google toolbar installed. It blocks pop-ups, manages cookies, integrated search (far better than the Opera version btw), form manager, password manager IE does anyway. Other than the HTML source editor, but my IE is configured to link to PHPEd/Homesite anyway.
Cheers,
Rich
