I don't believe anyone on this forum asked you to collate a list of commercially released games made in FPSC and then spout about how they "suck"...

For one I don't see the purpose of this thread. For seconds, so what if they suck. At least they've had some (if little) success. Bad publicity is still publicity.

Someone obviously saw a chance and took it, whether it paid off or not who knows? That Tokyo game was well done (for it's time) I'm sure if those developers had to return to 120(BETA 3) they could produce something 10x better.

I would take the time to review how your own games look before spouting off regarding other game developers/designers. Not a very mature post.

First of all, I didnt make a list. I showed off some NON-picked-up-games-by-the-forums. Did I say EVERY commercial game sucks? I loved Mob Ties Tokyo.

The company was some polish dude (after ive heard), and he made some not-so good looking games. I was just showing them to the forums, after they was impossible to find. And I called them bad, they werent perfect, but they werent good either. MAybe he had some sucess ? Sure!

"collate a list of commercially released games" Did you even click the link? I didnt collate every game, I collated games which were never heard of (as ive seen, I havent seen so many posts about these games). I just think they are bad, you can say what you want!

I was just showing the community some old games which went commercial, and they werent perfect.

I seem to remember myself getting a temporary ban or at least having a thread locked for making a post just to link to and bash someones work. Which looking back now, was extremely childish and just plane tasteless..

Since the games you refer to were made a long time ago you cant really expect too much from them. Most around here never finished a level never mind a game I think its bad form to be dissing people who actually got a game on shelves, I don't think the best way to encourage people to create better games is by pointing out ones you think are not up to standard (reminds me of all the wanna be rock stars who think their band is better than ones that release albums so why aren't they as successful), not exactly raising the bar is it?.
It would be more informative to find out HOW they got the game out commercially, thinking you can do better wont mean publishers will beat a path to your door.

You only have one life ... Abuse it well.
