Hi!

Why won't this work?

As the name says, the image is nothing but white, but it won't show when I try to texture the object.

Best regards!

Well seeing as the object is white already before texturing there'd be no difference between the two.

It appears grey on my screen before texturing. But´ll try with a different texture to see if that works

It's due to lighting. Depending on where the light/ambient is will alter how the object will appear. So you could say you were looking at a dark side of the object. If you use: Set Object Light 1,0 so object 1 won't be affected with by lights, you can see it as the whole object was a light.

The default object color is 100% pure white. So as he said lighting makes it appear grey. So texturing 100% white has no visible change.

But apparently it did.

Perhaps "the different texture" was whiter than white.

It would be nice if posters tell or show us what they did exactly.

Does texture 0 not remove an objects texture?
