[ Not requesting a script, just looking for direction or perhaps pointing to a proper script ]

Is there a way to give the screen a panoramic view?
I can imagine just making a hud to give the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen, but what about a true panoramic view that actually shows a widened view perspective?

Show the black bars using HUD commands and increase the camera FOV.

Thanks Marc,

camfov seems to distort the view quite a bit.
I seem to remember more camera commands being added at some point.
I am using the current FPI Edit Pad and it only shows camfov, camfovinc and camshake.

Are there any newer commands I could be using to adjust the camera?
I think I also remember someone mentioning adjusting the camera height.

[Found the Syntax Thread...that was hard.. ]

@king & kumi: no, not all.

look into setup.ini/build.ini, searching for realcamview=0/1, and aspectratio=0/1, and play around with that. i think you will find what you are searching for.
