hello ok my pc crashed and i had to reinstall my fps software everything installed correctly and worked fine untill i ran across a bug and had to repair my fps software now that i have repaired it i have no shader fx or build options im aware that i have to go to userdetails and type in my full serial number. but when i go to userdetails and enter my serial number it will not let me save it keeps saying access denied? i have even turned my firewall off long enough to save it and it still says access denied any ideahs? help would be awsome as i am so upset that i lost my game and have to start all over and now i cant get fps to run shaders or build my levels? im shure its something simple but im out of ideahs

Right click it and check if the property box marked 'read only' is checked. If so uncheck it.

i right clicked on userdetails and the read only box is unchecked? it still will not let me save?

It's your account on the system. I am assuming your application is installed in the default "c:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator" folder. If so, you need to have administrator privileges to save in any folder under "c:\Program Files\...".

One method you can do is copy the userdetails.ini to another folder and edit, save your changes, then copy back. To copy as Admin, right click the file and select copy, then navigate to where you want it, right click in the FPS Creator folder and select Paste. You should be prompted to provide administrator permission to copy where you can click "Continue" to do so.

right click on the folder fps creator, in "security" add edit permissions to user
