I want to use only 2D sprites and write it into bitmap. But using the sprites it is a process of 3D-world. Can I necessiate DBP it will draw sprites into bitmaps? Because my several programs uses 2D-world. 3D-world closes 2D-world and I can not see 2D-world - I see only empty blue screen.

not sure what you mean, but i can assure you sprites comes only in 2D in darkbasic. and they are always on top of the rest of the 3D world.

I believe Sprite's activate the 3D backdrop hence why it turns blue. But it shouldn't affect your ability for you to render 2D to the screen. So could you show an example of whats going on please.

You could use billboarding for the 2D assets I think this is what Leonid is looking for...

Simply create a 3D Plane and texture it with a transparent [or BMP image with colour key] image such as a DDS or TGA or PNG and that should do the trick... also remember to make the Plane face the camera at all times...

Hope this helps and is what you are looking for...
