FPSC Assistant has changed its name to "CreaStater"



It will be a shareware program. Each user can download for free and enjoy all the features of the program without restrictions during the trial period (To do this, you only need to register for free your copy of the program (more on that later)). I want to charge a fee in the minimum amount that users would not overpaid. For that, I want to survey what kind of license acquisition easier for all.

2) The rapid opening of the main FPSC folders and files

quick open: languagebank/gamebank for direct link to setuplevel.fpi/loadingscreen.fpi etc. is one of my shortcuts on desktop, also gamecore/huds and gamecore/guns.

I think I gave you some ideas in the "poll" thread.

I really do wish you well with this. If anything else it will give you more experience at this sort of thing.

If you are going to charge for it I wouldn't charge very much as most people who use FPSC are still living at home and relying on their Mum and Dad.

I notice that you have the conditions in red; but no color for the actions. Of course, the colors can be different or you can allow the user to select the colors they would like.

In my app I did not make the search command very easy to use. If you haven't downloaded my app, then I would do that and just check out how it's working and improve on it. Just saying.

As I said I'm all for you to do what you can with this type of app. In fact depending on how it turns out (I would download at least the demo) I might even start using it.

THEORY - you know everything but nothing works. PRACTICE - when everything works but don't know why. For me, theory and practice are combined: nothing works and I don't know why.

I wish I could comment but I simply do not know enough about programming to comment on what is good and what is not so good but I wish you all the best of luck with this and will be sure to 'try' and test it out for scripting when needed on my side.
Its great that you are doing this in the first place and please do not be put off by the lack of post replies.

Yea that was a bugaboo for me too.

Macro's good idea.

You might want to allow the user of the app to select whether or not they want command suggestions to show. Even if it is fast and out of the way some may just not want it. Will you be able to use both the keyboard (arrow keys plus the enter key) and the mouse to select a command that comes up?

I notice that the App title is spelled "Assistent." Be sure and change it when you can or you'll forget and release it with the misspelling. The subject of the thread is spelled correctly.

With word wrap do you indent the continuation of the condition/action line? Or do you not give it a line number. If I were using this I would not like word wrap unless I could look at it and immediately see that the "second" and subsequent "lines" were part of the current condition/action line. The next best thing is to allow the user to turn on/off word wrap. I would think allowing the user to turn it on/off would be a must anyway.

If you don't understand what I just said, let me know and I'll try to say it differently. I'm not sure if you are using a translator or not.

I looked at the highlighting demo. That's exactly how I wanted to do it but the language I was using made it more difficult. A lot of people are going to like this because it makes it faster and more efficient to use. Kudos with that.

How about adding a repair function for the userdetails.ini, so when FPSC thinks it's free or losses it's mind you can click to repair/restore the file? It's a shame this has to be done, but while you're making this...
