I had an idea for a program that would require loading a large wave file - from 30 minutes to as much as 3 hours.
Besides being able to play, I'd need to be able to rewind without going all the way back to the beginning.
I have tried the built in functions, Load Sound, Load Music, Load Animation, but none supports a wave file of this size let along the ability to move around (forwards and backwards) through the file.
Does anyone know of an extension pack for DBPro that has these features?
If I should end up trying to open the wave file as a file and load portions into memblocks, does anyone know what is the size limit of a "convert memblock to sound"? Since my test files wont load with a Load Sound, I know there must be some limit.
Alternatively, would it be possibly to open the file in windows media player and remotely control that window through DBPro?
