just tested a bit more agk on 2 different windows8 configs in desktop mode.

on an intel graphics chipset all worked fine.

on an nvidia graphics chipset i got a window with an opengl error and then all worked but ran at 5fps!

so i suppose the issue is grahics card driver related.

I have AppGameKit running fine on Win 8 Release Preview build 8400.

The only issue I have encountered was related to doing a render() which crashed the app. I don't have time to do a full investigation so I have switched to a Sync() for the time being.

what graphics card are you using?

i am using the rtm version since this will be the version closest to the version that will go on sale

I'm also on the Intel Chipset on my Ultrabook - HD graphics 4000.

as i already mentioned, the intel chipset drivers seems to support opengl so no problem there.
