I'm making a fancy HUD in Gimp and i'm wondering what resolution/size do i need to make it? Do i make a separate picture for lives and health or is it one big picture?

Typically a 1024x378 would work, depends on what resolution you have in the setup.ini file in your directory. I don't know if resolution matters, I'd stick to the default in Gimp. 72ppi I think.

And for the health thing, you can add those in if you want, like if you want a health bar, but then some editing in the global script would be needed.

i used this animated hud by ROLFY as reference (good description and example how to edit the levelsetup to get it work):

seperate pics, its easier to do because fpsc uses percentage values for screen resolution, and GUN-Huds are defined in the gunfolder, so they are neccessarily seperate.
