I love challenges like this... I doubt it will ever be added to the command set because it is for a very specific purpose. I will try to come up with a version of it in tier 1 though at some point because it is just such a fun challenge. Anyone think they can beat me to it?

basically i think it would just boil down to 1 command right?

SplitSprite (id, x1, y1, x2, y2, new id) or something like that

this would make games like fruit ninja doable in 20 lines in agk! that would be a MASSIVE positive advert for AGK.

Yes, that sounds about right. I would probably do a version that returns the new sprite ID.

This is a pretty doable (like that word) command using image masks or even by messing around with UV co-ordinates
