I just recently downloaded Visual Studio 2012, and want to know, has anybody tried getting Dark GDK to work with it? What about GDK 2.0?

GDK 2.0 works with it, but I don't think that GDK 1.0 works out-of-the-box. I think you'll have to recompile it(since the source is available online at Google Code), to guarantee its usability in VS2012.

Hi there,

it seems that VS 2012 is mandatory fow Windows 8 & Ultrabook programming, so I'm going to take a step into this sooner or later.

Has anyone already tried to recompile DGDK 1.0 libraries with VS 2012?
Anyone got running a DGDK program in Windows 8?

Thanks!

I've been working on a game using VB.NET 2008 and the DarkGDK.NET

I upgraded to Visual Studio 2012 Professional by just opening the project. It converted it from 2008 to 2012 without any problem whatsoever.

Thanks for the info.
I have executed MPL3D Solar System (DGDK 1.0) in Windows 8, and it runs better than ever.
Icons even respond to the touch screen, as it takes it as a mouse click.
Next I'll try to rebuild the project with VS2012, as it is the way to go to fully check & control sensors, but these initial steps are promising.
