It gets stuck with the messgae checking your files... and it stops there doing nothing.Now my project Lyonian Warfare is in a halt.Also I have problem with de-installing it just crashes saying it had problems.So I found the reason the gamecore and map-editor and just hided them but it didn't help.I'm getting desperate, please help!

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8500@3,16 ghz
2 x 360GB memory

open task manager by right clicking the task bar and pressing start task manager. Then press the process tab and find fpsc-x. x is anything but it has to start in that. click it and press end process.
then uninstall fps creator and reinstall. it should then work.
