hey! I created this hud, and basically it gives you that iron man feel... I know it's not the best but hey!, I tried ok!?

anyway to use it, just place a triggerzone anywhere, and change the mainscript to "ironmanhud.fpi" then it should work..

It's kinda bland. The iron man HUD has a more whiteish hue to it

I think it has approved. Why not make red versions?

here's an example of an animated hud in action:

(this is not mine)
EDIT: basically, animated huds are huds that use bars instead of numbers (correct me if I'm wrong )

Well animated huds can be anything that is animated... like the circles on your iron man hud can be rotating if you put the time and effort into it.

Well you got to make a animated .GIF or whatever. the only picture animating software I've had experience in is adobe fireworks and Flash. I would Google some up though

Thanks all for clarifying it .

@TriSpefear Studios:
FPSC doesn't support .GIF . Animated pictures are made by multiple frames and is executed through scripting . For example you show a picture and hide another every 100 ms , so it looks like animated ones .

How would i did it:
1) create huds which show a single frame(so ca 15-20 huds)
2) create script: etimer-commands!!!
3) test it again and again

then all works
I know the tutorial is trash, but maybe it helps a little bit

ok i gave a try too and i just need 10 pictures to create a very basic animated hud! It looks good i think, but you create such a beautiful hud, so for you there should not be a problem to create the animation for it!

If you need scripting help, i will help you of course

to create an animated hud, you need to make a copy of the image with a slight change to the section of the hud that you want animated (similar to stop frame animation)

If you want it to look smooth, you will need quite a few images.

It will be time consuming rather than hard to accomplish. If you have the time and can be bothered, you will have a very nice hud!

Looks good so far though.
