After being bombarded by emails about them not being able to processing my auto-payment(which is because they don't have my credit card on file), they sent an apology letter for the spam.

Now just think if this supposed "error" happened with my info saved on their side. They might've charged me multiple times!

But I'm done with this service for good. Monday morning I get a 10Mb service for $38 with a cable company.

Well atleast they've actually bothered sending you an apology letter.

Oh come on. We're trying to talk with sigs here and you rudely interrupt.

That's disgusting business-practice. I think you're making the right move by switching service-providers. I'd be mad as hell too.

I hate people who bug you like hell when you leave their service or try to beg you not to leave. But getting spammed would be pretty damn annoying. I think when you leave you should ask to have your data removed from their records, I'm not sure what data protection laws are like in other countries, but I believe you have the right to do so here in the UK, unless you sign that right away.

However, I am somewhat reminded of this:

I just got Insight today. Faster speed, much lower pings, and lower price.

I dunno, mistakes happen. Obviously there was more wrong if you cancelled your service with them though!

Visit my blog http://www.canales.me. Also yes I changed my name. It was time for a change.

Oh there was a lot more wrong. Crappy hardware, high latency on the service, terrible customer service with non-english speakers, ill-knowledgeable techs that know nothing about networking, and very annoying reminders to pay my bill.
Every night around 3am, up to about a week or two before the bill is due, they shut your internet off. You need to open your browser, let it forward you to their website to where you can either read a special announcement (bill due date) or click a link to continue using the internet. And being a 4G wireless service, speeds were quite limited. 4Mb at best for $45.
