I was wondering if it was possible to create a basic 3rd person rpg, where you control 3 other bots

Similar to dragon age, basically can you create an easy click to move interface & command a bot to move to another position ie move to x position

I was going to use UDK, but i was wondering if its easier in fpscreator

Run back to UDK and never stop LOL
click to move is basically impossible , 3rd person is still improving and yet to be perfect . However I'm designing an RPG game now with an upgrade and store pretty much inspired by Deus Ex . I think it has been fairly easy till now . so If you want to design 1st person RPG , this is your place . otherwise don't expect much at least for now .

Nope. I guess you could sort of mod the camera and controls in but I doubt the engine would be able to handle large outdoor areas, and it would probably look quite shabby depending on how well you do. I suggest using a different engine for that kind of task, although you could try.

Oh come on. We're trying to talk with sigs here and you rudely interrupt.

You will need overkill modding , modding that can take long enough for FPSC V2 to release
But the real downside of FPSC is AI . That's why you see too many zombie games out there : You can't make a good enough AI to challenge the player really . some people could achieve nice results but still .

Really Roonyroo... go with another engine for this.

What you try to accomplish is in no way recommendable to try in FPSC.

I know this game- it is quite fun. You might be able to do *some* similar things, but you will not be able to make it to play just as Dragon Age (or other games of this nature) does. It would require some heavy scripting first of all, and if you are new to scripting, that alone will throw you. Second, the ability to control other characters is definitely out- there are some of us that have scripted characters to "accompany" the player, but it is still in infancy at the present moment. You can't even click in the screen to move/control players.

In the long run I think you would get disappointed with the results. However, you could create a development that is a "spin-off" or something of that nature. Perhaps you can get some ideas from quests and come up with a good storyline to develop on your own.

I wouldn't recommend it, although it is possible. The clue is in the name - first person shooter. Not, third person role-playing-game. Good luck anyway
