The algorithm is for a specific purpose and I would like if someone could assist me with programming the algorithm. I have alot of it already planned out, just needing some assistance finishing it up. It has to do with finding out how many times a number was drawn each time for each draw. Also, I have to put in about 125 pages of data.

PS. Sorry if this is in the wrong topic

How is anyone going to help you without 1) exact description of what the algorithm should do and 2) the code you've already got?!

Only BiggAdd is capable of reading minds. We mortals don't have such powers.

Well, i see your point and i did take that into consideration, but the algorithm that i have panned out, i do not wish to share the code freely.

compare data
increase count when match is found

without something to go on it is pretty hard to help you, and we are hardly going to steal your work, let alone something as simple as a lookup routine.

But you're asking for help on a public forum?

Nobody is going to steal your work on an algorithm that merely compares data.

actually the amount of teens copying and pasting off net for their homework is quite so in that way it could be...

though i'm not sure how much use a counting routine would be in itself... its like saying brake fluid is useful by itself
