I think the title says it all but alas, I need to report the actual coords the mouse is located at in reference to desktop size rather than app resolution?

Jack and Jill went up a hill to fetch a pale of water... but Jill got tired of his s#%& so she shot him.

look at this post by aaron miller which involves user32.dll.

run the code he's provided there; i think it's what you're looking for.
